Sales Representative - Sydney or Melbourne

Arealytics is seeking sales professionals for the Greater Sydney and Melbourne Metro markets to act as a client facing representatives of our products to the top REITS, Owners, Agencies, Valuation firms and industry participants.


It is also expanding its market footprint across Australia and Asia and growing the team to further achieve penetration as the market leader. The management team previously led the expansion into the top 60 major US markets and has now created a new venture to tackle the rest of the world.

About the Role

Salary:  $70,000 AUD - $100,000 AUD + Commission (Depending on Experience)

Full Time * Hybrid

Reports to: Head of Sales

Job Duties

  • Produce new revenue by researching and analyzing potential prospects and sales options.

  • Enhances sales staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

  • Meet sales revenue targets.

  • Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.

  • Submits contracts following company pricing policies and procedures.

  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.

  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending industry conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Develop relationships with prospects and recommend solutions to improve their production through the use of Arealytics. New leads may be generated through canvassing, cold calling, partner relationships, and customer referrals.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain sales activities and plans.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with current clients and their management teams by providing information and support.

  • Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.

  • Mentor team members and teach improved processes in order to enhance staff accomplishments.


  • Cultivate solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.

  • Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.

  • Ensuring that all sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly.

  • Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.

  • Assists newly recruited or less experienced Sales Representatives in answering technical questions posed by customers.

  • Analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective.

  • Conducts research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.

  • Proven sales experience.

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
